Introducing: 31 Days of Encouragement

Renew. Replenish. Rejoice.

2012 has definitely been a year with its ups and downs.  We've seen many blessings, but also many challenges.  With losses, illnesses, work challenges, family challenges and challenges to our very geography, our whole lives have felt a little like shifting sand.

Through all of this, we have had three constants: our faith, each other, and YOU.  That's right, you. Offering a helping hand just when we thought the task was too tough to finish; sending words of encouragement on the worst days; giving us advice to get us through, an ear, and a shoulder when they were needed; and always quick to love on us. In all the many ways you have been there, you have helped us stay sane and centered, and we are very grateful.

Reflecting on how often an encouraging thought or words of wisdom helped me, it occurred to me that many of you probably could use the same, and don't get nearly enough of it. What resulted was this project: 31 Days of Encouragement.

For the next 31 days, it's my mission to start each day with an uplifting message for you.  January seemed like a good month to present these, but really the thoughts are designed to be used whenever they are needed, and will be housed on the 31 Days of Encouragement page.

I hope that this collection of thoughts is a blessing to you, as you have been a blessing to us. Here's to a wonderful new year in 2013!
